Insert Sound is a growing collection of sound libraries of field recordings.
Each library is a thematic collection of sounds recorded in my native home Iceland and around the world, including city ambiences, rivers, waterfalls, volcanoes and geothermal power plants to name a few.
Insert Sound began as a podcast for my personal sound recording experiments and discoveries. I still use this medium to experiment and think about my field recordings, which if good enough, end up as an Insert Sound library.
